OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD

What is this ministry all about?
Operation Christmas Child (OCC) collects shoeboxes filled with toys, school supplies, and personal care items, and delivers them to children in need around the world to demonstrate God’s love in a tangible way. For many of these children, this shoebox is the first gift they have ever received.  

As they receive their shoebox, they also receive The Greatest Gift booklet and are invited to participate in The Greatest Journey—a 12-lesson discipleship program. Children learn from trained, local volunteers what it means to follow Jesus and share their faith.
How can you help?
Our goal at Grace is to pack 200 shoeboxes for these children. We are in the process of purchasing items in bulk to fill them. We ask that you prayerfully consider supporting this ministry by:
  • Praying for the shoebox recipients to learn about Jesus.
  • Sponsoring a shoebox ($25.00 each).
  • Writing handwritten notes to the shoebox recipients to be included in each shoebox.
  • Purchasing honey & syrup during our fundraiser on Sept. 20-27.
  • Joining us for the packing party on Sunday, November 8!
