We also have a class aimed at teens that provide them with the tools they need to grow their faith and make healthy decisions. Teen page |
What can I expect the first time I visit Grace? "So we can confidently say, 'The Lord is my helper; I will not fear; what can man do to me?' " Hebrews 13:6 Visiting any church for the first time can be a little intimidating. We want your time at Grace to be enjoyable and worshipful. We hope that the following information will help you to have a wonderful visit with us. What is Grace's Sunday morning schedule? "Come, let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the LORD our Maker..." Psalm 95:6 Our Sunday mornings begin with the 8:15am service. Immediately following the service (around 9:15am), we invite you to enjoy a few minutes of fellowship in the Fellowship Hall at the opposite end of the building, with hot coffee, refreshments and good conversation. Sunday School, for kids from preschool to high school, and adult Bible study begin at 9:40am and conclude at 10:30am. Our second service begins at 10:45am. What are services like? Sunday services at Grace are fairly traditional in nature. An order of worship is provided for each service that contains all the hymns, responses and readings, so your worship time at Grace can be fully devoted to God (not flipping through endless papers!). Are both services the same? Both the 8:15am service and the 10:45am service are basically the same. The main difference is that on the 1st, 3rd and 5th Sundays, there will be communion at the early service and on the 2nd, 4th and 5th Sundays, communion at the second. What should I wear? "So do not worry, saying,... 'What shall we wear?'" Matthew 6:31 Our focus at Grace is on our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, not the latest fashion! On a typical Sunday morning you will see everything from jeans and t-shirts to suits and dresses. Come as you are. What about the kids? "Jesus said, 'Let the little children come to me...'" Matt. 19:14 Our family at Grace gladly welcomes children! We encourage you to bring your child(ren) into the sanctuary where they can experience the service first-hand. We also have a nursery available for both services, and although it is only staffed during the 10:45am service, you are welcome to use it during the 8:15am service as well. Hope to see you soon! |
