Save the date, the 4th Annual Italian Dinner will be February 10, 2012. Advanced ticket sales start Sunday January 22nd and will continue until Sunday Feb 5th. Price for advanced tickets will be $8 for adults, $4 for children, and $25 for a family ticket.
Bringing in the "Sheets"

One of the servant events at the 2012 Lutheran Women's Missionary League Convention, will be the making of cancer pads. The ladies will be using needle and thread to stitch them together. We hope to make at least 100 of these pads. The outside layer is an old sheet. The sheets, white, pastel or patterned, may be new or used, top sheets or contour sheets. They will be specially washed and cut into the correct sizes before convention. There is a basket in the transition area marked "SHEETS" where you may deposit your sheet donations.
Divine Drama

This study equips people to understand the Bible's key themes and teachings, such as the Trinity, Sin & Grace, the Church & Worship, Prayer & the Lord's Prayer, Holy Baptism & Holy Communion, Stewardship & Life Management, and Eschatology (or "The Last Things"). New students as well as those attending Divine Drama: The Biblical Narrative are invited to attend. Please sign up on the bulletin board in the hall. You have two choices of when to attend. Midweek classes begin Wednesday, February 15 at 7pm but will move to Tuesdays in the following weeks to allow for Lenten services. Sunday classes begin Sunday, February 19. Both are led by Lora Schlueter.
