As Grace grows, so do the opportunities for our music lovers! Worship Committee The Worship committee is looking for members of the church who would like to share their musical talents. If you are interested in contributing to the music at an upcoming service, please contact Theresa Ledbetter. Join the Choir You are welcome to come and join us at any time. Choir gives you the opportunity to sing praises to the Lord and also provides fun and fellowship with your church family. Choir practices are every Wednesday evening at 6pm in the balcony. Choir will resume September 8 from 6-7pm. Join Bell Choir Another great way to serve the Lord! Love to make music? Then you're a great candidate for bell choir! Join us in the sanctuary every Wednesday at 5pm for rehearsal. Practice resumes on September 8 from 5:15-6pm. Join the Praise Band A new offering here at Grace. A great way to have fun and fellowship. The Praise Band is currently looking for more members. All skill levels are welcome! Practices are currently held every Saturday at 8am. |

Descriptions of Boards Board of Lay Ministry The basic objectives are the spiritual welfare of the Pastor and congregation members, individually and corporately; and the supervision of everything pertaining to congregational worship. Board of Stewardship Initiates programs of the congregation in regard to use of the time, talents and treasure of the members to accomplish the work of Christ's kingdom; be facilitators and catalysts for the other Boards with regard to the encouragement and training of members for service; and encourages the financial stability of the congregation and its work through a developed program of dedicated, proportionate, first-fruits giving. Board of Fellowship Strengthens the fellowship between congregation members spiritually and socially; integrates new members into the life of the congregation; and builds up mutual cooperation, trust and enjoyment among the members of the congregation. Board of Evangelism Brings the Gospel to the unchurched; enlists all members in the work of spreading of the Gospel; deepens the faith and church activity of the members of the congregation; and keeps current records regarding prospective members. Board of Church Properties Properly maintains and repairs church property; represents the congregation in all legal matters and protects the congregation against loss or damage. Board of Education Plans, determines policies, and administers the educational program of the congregation; and recruits members for various educational purposes. Board of Youth Involves the young people of the congregation in the ministry of Christ; provides for the spiritual growth and nurture of the young people of the congregation; and promotes Christian fellowship for the young people of the congregation. Board of Social Responsibility Initiates programs of the congregation in regard to the welfare and social needs of the congregation members and the community at large; and encourages members of the congregation to reach out with Christian love to help meet the social needs of the community. |
